Having taken his place in Australian sporting history, Richard Nizielski is now one of the world’s leading Golf Fitness Development Coaches, providing practical and highly targeted fitness solutions to elite and amateur golfers around the world.

Richard was a member of Australia’s Short Track Speed Skating Relay Team, winning Australia’s very first Winter Olympic Games medal in 1994.  The team also made history, winning the first World Championship title for an Australian winter sports team, winning the Relay World Championships in 1991 and placing 3rd in 1993 and 2nd in 1994.  Richard’s successful career in the sport lasted an impressive ten years, during which time he competed for Australia at ten (10) World Championships and three (3) Winter Olympics Games.

Understanding firsthand the rigors of professional sports, Richard has for the last 11 years, worked in the field of Athletic Development, specialising in golf fitness. Working in close collaboration with player’s coach’s and physiotherapist’s, Richard combines personal knowledge and a comprehensive testing protocol to pinpoint a player’s personal requirements for their golf fitness needs.  Players include Korea’s Jiyai Shin and Jiyoung Oh, Australian Masters winner Katherine Hull and top Malay amateur Kelly Tan.

Richard works with players of all levels providing hands-on fitness solutions covering, strength and conditioning, nutrition advice and recovery methodology.

Richard is the Golf Fitness expert contributor for one of Australia’s leading golf magazines, Inside Golf; is a regular contributor to high profile golfing online resource and news centre, i-seekgolf.com; has implemented Golf fitness programs for one of Australia’s leading golf training centres – Victoria Park Golf Complex, and is a the Athletic Development coordinator for both the AnK Golf Academy at the Gold Coast and the Elite Development Golf Academy (EDGA) at Brookwater Golf & Country Club.

Training and education backs up Richards practical knowledge and experience. He holds a degree in Exercise Science and continues to expand his knowledge of cutting edge training methods, working alongside some of the best Australian and international golf coaches as well as regular attendance at workshops, symposiums and seminars with leading coaches and fitness experts.

Through Golf Fit Solutions, Richard expands his unique service to golf players worldwide, from the budding young amateur to the seasoned professional.
